We are passionate hosts and are especially pleased with our many regular guests. Obviously, we do not care for them alone, but are supported by our loyal team who has already accompanied us for so many years and of whom we are very proud.

Your hosts – The family Rosenstock

Claus, Gerlinde and Manfred Rosenstock are already the third and fourth generation of hosts. Our family can look back on a successful career at home and abroad. 1997 we fulfilled our dream by buying the exclusive hotel Alpenhof at the Zugspitzdorf in Grainau. Here in this idyllic location we take care around the clock for the well –being of our guests. We have at any time an open ear for requests, suggestions, little worries and troubles. We are always in the mood for a little chat – partly we are known with each other for years.

The fourth member in the Rosenstock quartet is Nadine Rosenstock. She and her team take care of the “internal and external appearance” of the hotel – in that way the Alpenhof is decked out every day anew for its guests.

At the reception desk are Dörte Eisenreich, Katja Göttsche und Katrin Richter the first contact for the concerns of our guests. They ensure a smooth and eventful wellness holiday no matter what the subject is, reservations, booking of cosmetic treatment or the next hiking tour.

Fresh mountain air makes you feel hungry and the lovingly prepared meal ensure a completely happy holiday. Our dishes are prepared with carefully selected high quality products from the region. For this purpose, we also rely on traditional recipes that have been carefully adapted by us to the current knowledge of the light cuisine. The offer of the Alpenhof cuisine ranges from Bavarian delicacies to international cuisine and wholefoods. Our kitchen manager and his team provide unforgettable culinary memories of your holiday.

Our beautiful hotel on the Zugspitze is ideal for all kinds of activities due to its unique location. Around Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in the middle of the Bavarian Alps and Germany’s highest mountain, you will find a unique natural region that offers a wide range of sports and hiking opportunities.
Numerous hiking trails await you, which are also cleared in winter, challenging via ferrata and numerous cable cars. The well-known gorges Partnachklamm and Höllentalklamm are also located here.
